Police are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary in Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford in the early hours of this morning (March 24).Three men forced their way into the house at around 12.15am and inside assaulted two men in their 20s with a hammer and a tool bar. They received minor injuries to their knees and hands.Cash, a games console and mobile phones were stolen.Officers are keen to trace a black car that was seen in the area around the time of the incident.Anyone with any information...
